Cabin switches and sensors, on the bus
UV2D is a CAN module fitted inside the cab. It reads the operator’s switches and the cabin’s sensors and brings them into the machine’s control system over a single bus cable.
A cab typically holds dozens of switches, potentiometers and indicator lamps, each of which would otherwise need its own wire running all the way to the control system. UV2D gathers them in one place: the module is mounted in the cab, near the switches, and only the CAN bus and the supply voltage leave for the chassis. The harness gets shorter, there are fewer joints, and a fault is easier to find.
UV2D is part of the Usevolt control system, and like all our controllers it is configured through the UV0D touchscreen display — with no computer and no separate programming tools.
